ABOUT

Justin is a Los Angeles-based trumpeter, educator, and composer. A versatile freelance musician, he has performed with a variety of groups/artists, including the Santa Barbara Symphony, Modesto Symphony, the Marina Del Rey Symphony, La India, Tony Vega, Adalberto Santiago, among many others. You can hear him perform regularly across Southern California in a diverse range of styles, from orchestral and jazz to salsa, rock, and pop.​

As an educator, Justin maintains a private teaching studio in Los Angeles, and is a frequent visiting artist at local schools, teaching trumpet to students of all levels.

Originally from Hartford, CT, Justin holds degrees from the University of Maryland, where he studied with Chris Gekker. He continued his studies in California with Adam Luftman (Principal Trumpet of the SF Opera/Ballet) and Jon Lewis (LA studio musician).
